UNS S32205 (1.4462) is a duplex stainless steel alloy with a balanced microstructure of austenite and ferrite, providing high strength, excellent resistance to localized corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. It offers twice the yield strength of austenitic stainless steel while maintaining good ductility and formability.
